Day 5: What song inspires you.

Oh gosh.  I am not good at this.  I go through phases in what songs I love.  I am not sure if I can think of a song that I automatically think of as inspiring.  I can think of many songs that I hold close to my heart, but none that I think of as inspiring.

four.

Unfortunately I feel behind, dang you weekends.  So fromt his point forward weekends will not count, this way I will be less likely to fall behind.

Day 4: Your parents.

These are my amazing parents.  Without them I would not be the person I am today.  They have always supported me in anyway possible.  They have given me such a great example of love.  I could not ask for more loving, supportive, kind parents.  Our family has been through a lot, and they have helped our family through it all.

My dad is the hardest worker I have ever met.  He works so hard for our family so that we can have extra things in our lives.  Some of my fondest memories of my childhood include him being the best dad ever.

My mom is one of the smartest people I know.  She has her Ph.D. in Psychology and just finished receiving her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.  She works so hard in becoming a therapist while being an amazing mom.  Everyone who has ever met her, loves her.

Most of all my parents have raised amazing children.  I wouldn't be who I was today without them.  I couldn't imagine my life without either of them.  I have such a powerful and strong relationship with them, I also consider them as some of my closes friends.  I love you mom and dad!  You both are amazing!

Day 3: Your first love.

Oh goodness this is sure an easy one.  As I have mentioned in an earlier post, I have only been in love once and luckily for me it was with my husband, Tyler.  I wasn't too big on dating while in high school.  Unfortunately, after dating stupid arrogant guys after stupid arrogant guys I thought of high school boys as scum.  It sucks that dating a few dumb boys can ruin my opinion for two years in high school.  Have I had a heartbreak?  Yes, but all in all it didn't last long because I wasn't IN LOVE.  I am completely head over heals with all my heart in love with my amazing husband Tyler.  He truly has changed my opinion on men, obviously. I am so glad I was given the experience to meet him and date him and learn what a true respectful gentleman really is. I loved dating him and I even love being married to him more.

Day 2: Nicknames

Oh my Nicknames.  My name is Jennifer.  The obvious nicknames would be Jenn.  I have never or will never go by Jenny.  Nothing against the name, I am just not a Jenny.  Of course you will hear most people call me Jenn.  It has a lot less syllables than Jennifer.  In soccer my team would call me Jennifire, when I was playing really well.  However, I do have a nickname that is kind of crazy, but has stuck with me somehow.  Even though it is strange and weird, I love it.  It is probably because it takes me back to childhood memories.  The nickname is Ferfer, with different varieties such as ferfy and ferf.  I know I know, weird.  I really do love it.   Now how did this name start?  The answer is I am not quite sure.  We had some close family friends and somehow their family and my family came up with it.  In fact,  this certain family called me Ferfer all the time there was a time when their mom referred to me as Jennifer and they had no idea who I was.  When their mom told them, "Uhh its Ferf"  they couldn't believe Ferfer wasn't my real name.  Hence then it stuck, and now all my extended family now calls me this.  And for the record I really do love it.  :)

Day 1: Introduce, recent picture of yourself, 15 interesting facts.

My recent picture, is not so recent.  Unfortunately I am a terrible picture taker, very terrible.  The only pictures I have that are recent are like blurs of me or so far away that you can not even tell it is me.  HA. I also wanted a picture of me with my wonderful husband, so enjoy an older photo of me, and my husband.

1. I have an undying utter love for Soccer.  It brings me such happiness and joy. The only thing I love more than watching soccer, is playing soccer.  I currently just finished coaching my first team.

2. I am currently in the process of attaining my Bachelors in Psychology at Argosy University.  With the hopes of one receiving my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.  I want to become a children's therapist.

3. I have a perfect driving recored...... surprising for some I am sure.  But, the two times I have gotten pulled over I never received a ticket.  :) Yep perfect driving record.

4. I have only been in love once, and still am with my amazing husband, Tyler.

5. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE cooking.  If I had it my way, I would spend all the money and buying extreme and great ingredients and create amazing food.

6. Currently, I am obsessed with Friends.  The best part of watching is watching my husband watch it, and listening to him laugh uncontrollably.  And if you have heard Tyler's laugh you know what I am talking about.  One day I will post him laughing. Promise.  I will always be watching some T.V. series. ALWAYS. Oh and I love Joey the most.

7.  My husband and I love Disneyland.  We have gone ever single year since we have been dating.  We act like we are seven when we go.  It is so insanely fun.  I am sure parents tell their children not to come by us, haha.  We are so awesome.  We went there on our Honeymoon :)

8.  I have a secret ability at video games, let me clarify.  I have a secret extreme ability at Mario video games.  Mario cart, super mario bros, mario cart, mario party,  all of them I will kick some serious butt. Me and Mario are one. Don't doubt my ability or I will show you and hurt your pride.

9. I have only broken one bone.  It was my ankle.  I also wish I had a cool story on how it happened.  Unfortunately it happened by the dumb winter.  I slipped on ice. Of course with lots of laughing, then the pain hit and the crying and swearing began. Breaking bones SUCK.

Notice the extreme swollen abnormality in the right ankle.
And my foot is swollen.
10.  With the previous post, I have a love hate relationship with Winter and Summer.  I absolutely love Fall and Spring.  LOVE them.  I always get so excited for winter and summer, but then when they get here the extreme temperatures is well, HELL.

11.  I kick serious butt at paint balling.  Serious.  I also get my butt seriously kicked.  Observe the next photo.

12. My absolute favorite dessert in the whole world is the amazing Creme Brûlée.  If I could afford to eat one everyday I probably would, but then it wouldn't be so special.  I am salivating thinking of one.  The best place to get one is the Harvest restaurant at Thanksgiving Point in Utah.

13.  If I could love a fictional character it would have to be spiderman.  I love spiderman.  Especially with the new movie.  He is just so hott.

14. I am the oldest child.  I have 3 younger sisters, and a younger brother, Tanner, that passed away 7 years ago when he was one years old.  I miss him everyday, and always have him in my heart.  It was an amazing experience and through all the grief and heartache it made me who I am today.

15.   My husband is the most incredible man I know.  I know I am extremely biased but he is.  I have never met someone who has been through what he has and has excelled to where he is now.  He is the hardest working man.  Tyler has the purest intentions, he always means good.  He puts up with me when I am grumpy, and loves me unconditionally.  He makes me happier than I can imagine and I have had some of my happiest memories with him.  I couldn't even picture my life with anyone else.  He is perfect.

My husband singing and dancing to Michael Jackson at
our wedding.

My husbands awesome dance moves.  Like father like son.

Monday, July 9, 2012

I know I know, I am really bad at keeping up with this blogging thing.  And now 1 month later I am sharing our one year anniversary day.  Firstly it is so crazy to think we have already been married a whole year!  WOW.  It did not seem that long at all.  We ended up deciding to start our day off early and do a 25 mile bike race, for the tour de cure for diabetes.  It was down in Brigham City.  We had attempted training before, but with our busy schedule we only ended up going 4 times before the race.  We are cool I know.  Surprisingly enough we ended up finishing in about 90 minutes, and that is not too bad for beginners.  It was so great to be able to ride with Tyler and enjoy the outdoors together.  Not to mention burning some calories so we could eat a big dinner.  After the race finished we got our stuff together and went and got massages :)

We drove all the way home to Lehi and by then we were so tired from our early bike ride escapade.  We wanted to go out to dinner, but decided to get some food to go, that way we could be lazy bums in our pajamas.  Not to mention Tyler had a killer sunburn on his legs and did not want to put jeans on.  We ended up getting sushi from Tsunami and Buffalo Wild Wings..... great mix I know.  Sushi is my favorite and wings are Tyler's favorite, compromising is the way to go.

People often say that the first year of marriage is the hardest.  I can definitely see why they would say that.  I have to say that it is the greatest as well.  It is definitely an adjustment living together and getting in the right synchronization of living together.  We grew so much, I look back and can not believe how much we have both grown, and we have grown together.  I love that we work as a team, and that we have learned and are still learning how to do that.  I love that we had some hard times together, it helped me realize how good we are for each other and how we got through tough situations together.  We also shared so many amazing memories.  We had so many fun times together, and I am pretty sure I have laughed my hardest when I am with Tyler.  I wouldn't want to be with any other person than him.  I love my husband with all my heart and couldn't be happier.  I am looking forward of the years to come and what they shall bring.
