Birthdays

Thursday was my birthday!  I have the best husband in the whole world.  He made it so great, along with all my other amazing friends and family.

+Thursday we both took work off, and slept in until 10:00.  That could have made my birthday complete.

+We went to lunch with my mom and grandparents at the Harvest.  I had there pan seared Halibut, which was so amazing.  Then finish it off with amazing creme brulee (my weakness) and I was in pure heaven.

+Tyler took me shopping and I got some cute new shirts.  They were much needed.

+ I had Tsunami for dinner.  I love sushi.

+ On Friday my amazing teacher I work with, Rosie, had me lunch brought in.  We had Zupas.  It was so good!  I felt so loved at work :)

+ That night we went to the Mandarin restaurant in Bountiful, with my mom's side of the family.  They are so nice and always call me up and offer to take me somewhere for my birthday.  They are the best!

+ So let me rave for a few moments about this magnificent place.  You truly have not had chinese food until you have eaten here.  If you eat here you have to be sure to eat three things.  First, their egg rolls.  These aren't just any egg rolls.  They are massive, like half a burrito.  That alone fills you half way up.  Second, is my all time favorite.  The Char Shu Won Ton soup.  It is probably the most amazing thing you could ever consume.  AMAZING. Third, the cashew chicken.  It is so full of vegetables with the chicken and sauce, it is pure perfection.  Of course everything I have ever even tried has been amazing.  Those are my three must haves.

The Amazing Char Shu Won Ton soup from the Mandarin.

+ There was only one down side to my birthday, unfortunately I got this nasty cold.  It just so happened to show up right on my birthday. It sort of just made me slightly grumpy, even though I was having such a great birthday.

Now on Saturday we got to celebrate my fantastic Grandma Thelma Lou's 80th birthday.  She is such an amazing grandma.  She is such an incredible person.  We threw her a surprise birthday party at the Lion House.  With lots of singing and dancing.  It was such a great weekend!

Where to begin

I have no clue how to get everyone caught up in our lives.  We are barely caught up ourselves.  Seeming how crazy and hectic our lives have slowly become.

+Tyler and I are both working.  He at America First Credit Union.  I at the Northridge Elementary. {For another week actually.  Then blasted summer comes and I am jobless until September. DANG.... job hunting}

+Tyler and I are both going to school.  He at The Art Institute.  I at Argosy University.  He wants to work for Disney.  I want to help children.

+We have both started living a healthier lifestyle.  He is training for a marathon.  I am eating no carbs or sugars. {For now} Both of us are also training for a bike race.

+I have started coaching my little sisters Sarah's soccer team.  When I first took it on, I was feeling like it was a mistake.  The time it would take, would take away time from my husband.  However, I absolutely love it.  Even though it is even less time Tyler and I have together, I find myself loving it.  It made me realize how much love I have for that sport.

+We are both so excited for summer.  We can not wait to go camping, swimming, boating, and all the fun summer things.

+We hope to keep everyone updated on our lives.  Make it real.  Make it fun.  Make it US.

I know.  New blog.  I was trying to revamp the other one and it wasn't quite working out so well.  So a new one seemed easier.  The new title is more fitting too, seeming one day we would love to have some children.  This is about our newly married life together.  The adventures it brings us.  The people we share it with.  The happiness we have.  The trials we face.  The lessons we learn.  The goofyness we have.  I hope to keep up on it so I can share our lovely life with you all.
